I love rummaging around my fridge to see what I can make. This was totally made on a whim but it was freakin' delish.

Albacore Steak Sliders with Lemon-Mint Aioli

(314 calories, 20 grams of protein, 10 grams of fat)

Start with a 1 oz steak of albacore. Season one side liberally with kosher salt.

Over medium high heat on a non-stick skillet with just a bit of oil, sear the salted side down for approximately 15-20 seconds. Don't forget to season the top with kosher salt before you flip it.

FLIP. After searing that side for 15-20 seconds, sear the ends as well for about 10 seconds a side.

Let's make the aioli. Aioli is just a fancy smancy word for garlic mayonnaise. You're gonna need 1 teaspoon of lemon zest, 1 clove of garlic (mashed with a pinch of kosher salt), 1 tablespoon of Kewpie Mayo (Japanese mayonnaise), 5-6 leaves of mint, chopped and 2 teaspoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice.

Put all of the ingredients in a bowl and mix.

Spread the aioli on them bunz.

Baby kale for color

Albacore for heartiness

I just finsihed it with some red onion and a side of fruit. I gotta say, the tang from the lemon juice, freshness from the mint and creaminess of the mayo totally made the slider pop!
