You'll notice that I didn't post day 5. Sounds so soon but I'm currently going through some rough times and just needed a day off to collect my thoughts. Very important to listen to your body and mind if you're not at your best. You can always pick up where you left off the next day. Do not give up! :)

Breakfast: Chicken breast, egg scramble (1 egg, 1 egg white, scallions, elephant garlic, 1 teaspoon of canola oil), roasted asparagus
Snack: 1 cup of Skinny Pop White Cheddar
Dinner: Curried chicken sandwich (4 oz of chicken breast, 1/4 teaspoon of curry powder, 1/8 teaspoon of garlic powder, pinch of salt, 2 teaspoons of raisins, 2 teaspoons of cashews, 2 teaspoons of mayo, & 2 slices of whole wheat bread)
Workout: Billy Blanks' Ultimate Bootcamp

It's been really hard to try to keep up my spirits considering everything that's been going on.
A couple of weeks ago I interviewed for what is debatedly the best restaurant in the entire world. I was so elated. I promised myself that if I didn't get the job, I wouldn't let it get to me but it has. And I'm currently in the throws of reminding myself that it was just an honor to get an interview. It really was.
In my love life, if any of you haven't read the previous entries, I am currently going through a break-up. It's been really tough because we were together for almost 3 years and he was my best friend. To suddenly shift to talking to him all of the time to not at all brings constant pangs of separation anxiety. Luckily, I have my sister's cat here to keep me company. Thank you, Sandy and Han.
On the bright side, after having been injured and on an extremely tight budget for almost four months, I can finally go back to cooking things that I love again. I want to delve in here with my heart and soul pertaining to food. I'm also going to be writing quite a bit too in my tumblr for any of you whom are interested in love, people and the human condition.
I love talking about food and love because they're both the same. They bring people together, they win over people's hearts and they have the innate ability to warm up the soul. Happy journey to anyone who's just started, still going or will start!
I cannot wait for my weigh in two days from now.
