Lobster Mania

Lobster mania isn't only my favorite slot game when I occasionally hit the casino but it's also what went down today!
This was the first time I've ever done anything with this beautifully red crustacean so I felt that a lobster roll would be a great first dish in which experiment. However, after having picked the 3 pound bad boy at 99 ranch supermarket, I realized that my fish monger steamed my dear Sebastian for too long. Resulting in very tough lobster meat.
LESSON LEARNED: I will steam the lobster myself next time!
In light of the situation, I thought I would try another lobster dish I've seen on the Cooking Channel by Ching-He Huang on her show, "Easy Chinese." (Link to recipe: http://www.cookingchanneltv.com/recipes/ching-he-huang/dragon-prawn-noodles.html)
It's a dish less reliant on only the lobster meat and actually involves the lobster as a whole to flavor the entire dish. Needless to say, I was blown away how tasty these noodles were!

It was as if lobster flavor were integrated into every fiber of the noodles, like when peanut butter is spread onto a piece of bread. Oh lobster, how is it that I've lived this long without you?!
The mystery of the lobster roll is to be continued. For now, lobster noodles has a new place in my heart.
(Leftover shells??? Lobster stock! "Waste not, want not.")
